Welcome to Hometown Eye Care!

Personal attention is the number one goal of both Dr. Tuite and Dr. Mawhinney. At every appointment, they educate each patient so that they have a full understanding of what is going on with their eye health and vision.

OUR GOALS FOR EACH PATIENT ENCOUNTER IS TO:

• Give as much time needed to ensure each patient
  understands their specific diagnoses

• Listen to each concern and address them in a summary

• Make you feel as though you are a part of our family and not just a number

• Respect your time

• Keep up with the newest technology to provide consistent and accurate care

As eye care and personal needs change, it is our goal to adapt to provide patients an ongoing level of respect, high-quality eye care, and education.

We look forward to a lifetime of caring for you!

Dr. Tuite attended Colby-Sawyer College in New London where he received his Bachelors in Biology. His interests in health and the human body started at an early age which led him to pursue a career in eye care. He completed his doctorate program at New England College of Optometry where he graduated with honors. Dr. Tuite is currently an active board member of the New Hampshire Board of Registration in Optometry. The principal mission of the board is to safeguard the public health, safety, welfare, environment, and the public trust of the citizens of the State of New Hampshire.

In 2018, Dr. Tuite opened Hometown Eye Care, PLLC. Starting in 8th grade he knew he wanted to serve the Littleton community as their eye care provider. He envisioned being the hometown eye doctor that each patient could connect with, relate to, and expect exceptional service from. Personal attention, high-quality eye care, and patient education are his number one goals.
